For Painting II, I also was able to do a free painting as my final in the class. Baily, Micky's sister, had asked me to do a series of paintings for her newly re-modeled room. The Theme is Paris, so this is what I did for her. I just gave them to her yesterday for her birthday (:

I just completed my sophomore year of college! For my spring semester, I took painting II, here is what I was able to complete this semester:

Back Story: I love my boyfriend, and he plays a lot of video games (: so, I always joke with him that when he is playing he is a Zombie. So, here is Micky normal, and when he is playing games... or what he might look like when the Apocalypse happens. And yes, I will feed him to the other zombies to save myself, just kidding, I couldn't live with out him in my life. <3

My First Portrait

As I start thinking about what I would like to do for my Cap-Stone project in two years, I decided I wanted to start learning how to paint people. So, this is my first. I have been working on it for about a month. It started off as one painting, but this week I decided I didn't care for an element of it, and changed it; and this is my final product. I am pretty happy with it. MY FIRST PORTRAIT:

Modern Art History

I LOVED this class. One of the best art classes I have taken. For our final project we were able to write a paper on an artist and then do an art piece based on their work. I chose Georgia O'Keeffe as my artist. For my final art work I did a multimedia, with a combination of acrylic paint and printed images. The two under flowers are based on two of O'Keeffe's paints, I then added some of my own artist ideas.

When You Wish Upon A Penny

I did this for my painting class, it was our final assignment and we were able to paint anything we wanted. I chose a few images, starting with my friend and I throwing wishing pennies in the bottom right hand corner. From there it turns into everything I could have ever wished for at that moment and that it has come true. I have an image of my boyfriend, Micky, and I. A whale because they are special to us, and the beach because we have had a lot of great memories there, with many more to come.

Doodling @ The Carwash :D

My boyfriend, Micky, works at the London Road Car Wash. Most days I get to go down and sit with him while he works, and almost everyday I decide to do a doodle on the notepad that is near my stool. I decided I would start taking pictures of them and posting pictures of them. I don't really think much of them, but I found out Micky has been saving them, which makes me happy (: .

Art Major. Painting 1.

As part of my Art Major I am able to take 6 different painting classes. These are my favorite classes in my major and I am very much looking forward to doing all of them.

We started the class off with a colored pencil
